Upon finishing my BFA collection, I felt unsatisfied

True satisfaction came from taking things apart - picking at the seams, reworking, and imagining what each piece could become.

My truest passion is editing; this project helped me breathe new life into my collection. Surrounded by fabric scraps, lonely trims, flowers missing their buds, and flowers that begged for jewels, I began to reimagine.

Fresh from the Garden is the outcome of over a year of collection ideation and refinement. Accumulating found objects, forgotten textile samples, and discarded embellishments, I reincorporate them as wearable, everyday treasures.

What had been destined to gather dust in a garment bag became cherished and wearable again: trims were repurposed, beads were embroidered, vintage earrings were reimagined, and flat florals were given new life.

After many rounds of redesign and months of careful beautification, a collection of modified, wearable accessories emerged.

Each brooch and ornamental piece is made by hand using precious beading, salvaged fabrics, and carefully chosen embellishments.
