Vellara Vintage
Styling & Content Production Assistant

During the summer of 2025, I worked alongside the owner of Vellara Vintage, supporting the styling, organization, and operations behind the brand's editorial photoshoots and vintage clothing drops.
I managed inventory by organizing garments according to season, aesthetic, and trend, ensuring pieces were accurately sorted, prepared, and readily accessible for styling and production. I assisted in selecting garments for upcoming releases, prepared inventory through tagging, bagging, and storage, and maintained an organized stockroom to streamline workflow.
During editorial photoshoots, I coordinated wardrobe by transporting, steaming, unpacking, and organizing garments on set while maintaining clothing racks throughout production. I styled complete looks by pairing apparel with accessories, footwear, handbags, and jewelry, ensuring each outfit aligned with the creative vision and was presentation-ready. I also assisted with garment care and handled pieces with meticulous attention to detail before, during, and after shoots.
Beyond wardrobe responsibilities, I documented behind-the-scenes content, assisted with model direction during content creation, and produced social media assets for Instagram and TikTok. This experience strengthened my ability to thrive in fast-paced editorial environments while developing strong skills in wardrobe organization, sample handling, styling support, visual storytelling, and collaborative production.
World of My Own
Sewing, Patternmaking, Concept Intern

During the summer of 2025, I interned with designer Sydney, founder of World of My Own, where I supported the daily operations of a fast-paced fashion studio and gained hands-on experience throughout the design and production process.
Working alongside a team of interns, I assisted with sample development, garment construction, patternmaking, and the preparation of custom pieces while ensuring garments were organized and production-ready. I regularly sourced fabrics, trims, and notions through Garment District runs, helping maintain an efficient workflow and supporting the studio's production schedule.
I was responsible for preparing finished garments for fittings and the storefront through quality control, steaming, pressing, finishing, and meticulous organization. I also maintained an orderly studio environment, organized materials and samples, and assisted with inventory to ensure collections were accessible and presentation-ready.
In addition to production support, I collaborated on textile experimentation, collection research, and creative development, strengthening my ability to work within a highly collaborative, detail-oriented environment. This experience refined my skills in garment handling, sample organization, wardrobe preparation, and supporting creative teams under tight deadlines.
Madame Swan
Conceptual Couture Project

Madame Swan is a couture project that showcases my experience in couture construction, featherwork, and meticulous garment craftsmanship. Designed to transform the wearer into a swan, the piece combines structured silhouette development, unconventional corsetry, and editorial styling to create a dramatic visual statement.
The garment features over 6,000 individually applied goose, chicken, and rooster feathers, each hand-placed with careful attention to direction, movement, and texture to achieve a seamless, lifelike effect. Throughout the process, I developed advanced skills in precision handwork, garment finishing, material handling, and working with delicate couture techniques.
To bring the project to life, I also coordinated multiple editorial photoshoots, model styling, location planning, and creative direction to showcase the garment across a range of visual narratives.

Pendent & Chain

Restoring this vintage chainmail purse, which I received as a gift, challenged me to expand my metalworking and restoration skills. I carefully reshaped and repaired each ring before redesigning the original chain into a stronger, more practical strap that could withstand everyday wear while preserving the piece's character.
To elevate the design, I cast a solid sterling silver boar's tusk pendant and incorporated it as an adornment, creating a balance between restoration and craftsmanship.
My interest in vintage fashion is at the forefront of much of my work. I've always been an avid collector, drawn to the history and craftsmanship of older pieces. Restoring and reimagining vintage objects allows me to preserve their stories while giving them a new life, blending traditional techniques with my own perspective and vision.
Experimental Personal Branding

In preparation for my senior thesis, I was assigned a designer statement project exploring my personal aesthetic, creative process, and brand identity. Rather than presenting the work on traditional presentation boards, I reimagined it as a long, unfolding paper scroll layered with tactile elements, sketches, fabric swatches, handwritten notes, and process materials.
The piece reflects the contrast between the polished world I present and the often chaotic reality of creating it. While my work is carefully curated, aesthetically cohesive, and intentional, the creative process behind it is anything but perfect. It is filled with messy sketches, stains, revisions, failed experiments, and constant iteration. I wanted the branding itself to communicate that duality: the beautiful finished work is built upon an imperfect, hands-on process, and that embracing that messiness is an essential part of my identity as a designer.
Sterling Prize Ribbon
3D Broach

This oversized sterling silver prize ribbon brooch was created as an exploration of large-scale jewelry and its role in fashion styling. Inspired by traditional award ribbons, the piece transforms a familiar symbol of achievement into a sculptural object. Hand-fabricated from sterling silver, it features a bold circular rosette with layered, folded metal "petals" that catch the light, while long satin-inspired silver streamers extend from the center to exaggerate its scale and presence.
I was interested in how an accessory could become the focal point of a look rather than a finishing detail. By experimenting with exaggerated proportions and wearable sculpture, I explored how jewelry can shape a silhouette, strengthen visual storytelling, and become an integral part of a garment or editorial concept. The piece reflects my ongoing interest in the interactions between jewelry, fashion, and wearable art.
Wick & Wax
Wax Candle Heels

Created for musical artist CarolsDaughter as a promotional piece for an upcoming music release, these custom candle wax heels were designed to function as both wearable footwear and sculptural art. Each heel was repeatedly dipped and built up with layers of wax, creating the illusion that the shoes had been carved entirely from melted candle wax. Working candles emerge from the front of each shoe, allowing the piece to become interactive. The flames can be lit while the heels are worn, transforming them into a living object for performance.
Designed to command attention, the heels blur the line between fashion, prop, and installation. Whether worn on camera or displayed as a standalone object, they create a dramatic atmosphere through their flickering candlelight.
The project reflects my interest in creating wearable pieces that extend beyond clothing to become immersive visual storytelling.

This oversized 3D heart pendant explores jewelry as a sculptural focal point rather than a finishing accessory. Inspired by the symbolism of lockets, keys, and locks, the piece reimagines these romantic motifs into something that celebrates connection, intimacy, and sentimentality.
By experimenting with exaggerated proportions and wearable sculpture, I explored how jewelry can transform a silhouette, strengthen visual
storytelling, and become an integral part of a garment or editorial concept. The pendant reflects my interest in dissolving the line between fashion and wearable art, transforming jewelry into sculptural objects that are just as expressive and story-driven as the garments themselves.

Crafted from deadstock faux fur, this cropped pagoda jacket is designed as a bold statement piece. The dramatic pagoda silhouette is enhanced by custom hand-crafted shoulder pads, creating a strong, sculptural shape, while a rich deep red satin lining adds an unexpected flash of color.
Combining exaggerated proportions with refined construction, the jacket reflects my interest in creating outerwear that is both theatrical and wearable.

This pair of wax-dipped statement earrings explores my fascination with nature, symbolism, and wearable sculpture. Featuring one silver swan and one black swan, the design is inspired by the belief that swans sing to one another before they die, a symbol of devotion, harmony, and enduring connection. Though contrasting in color, the two birds gracefully wrap around one another, representing the beauty that exists in opposites.
By experimenting with wax-dipped finishes and sculptural scale, I aimed to create jewelry that feels both organic and expressive. The earrings reflect my ongoing interest in transforming natural forms into statement accessories.
Drummer Jacket

Ring Mistress is a theatrical drummer’s jacket inspired by the dramatic silhouettes, performance culture, and expressive styling of Visual Kei fashion and iconic bandwear. Drawing from the movement’s fusion of music, fashion, and identity, the piece explores the idea of clothing as a stage persona. Transforming the wearer into a performer who commands attention.
The jacket combines elements of glam rock and circus-inspired costuming through exaggerated proportions, structured tailoring, and ornate detailing. Inspired by the uniforms of ring leaders and the powerful presence of musicians on stage, Ring Mistress is a garment that feels both theatrical and wearable. The design celebrates the relationship between fashion and performance, allowing the wearer to embody dramatics and individuality beyond the boundaries of everyday clothing.
Through the influence of Visual Kei’s embrace of androgyny, transformation, and self-expression, the piece challenges traditional ideas of womeswear and performance attire. Ring Mistress becomes a statement piece designed for movement, stage presence, and storytelling, where the garment is not simply worn, but performed.
Enfants Riches Déprimés SS2024 Recreation
Patterning Challenge, Runway Recreation

This patterning challenge focused on recreating a look from the Enfants Riches Déprimés SS2024 collection, exploring complex garment construction and unconventional silhouette development. The original design featured double-waisted trousers with suspended, sandwiched layers and a blouse constructed with intertwining double pleats, challenging traditional approaches to patternmaking and proportion.
For my reinterpretation, I transformed the look through the use of dark denim, creating a contemporary Canadian tuxedo. The structured denim tailoring references traditional workwear while maintaining the dramatic, rebellious spirit of the original design. The model was styled with a clean yet defiant aesthetic, pairing the rugged denim with a distressed American flag to create a visual dialogue between Americana, decay, and reinvention.
This piece explores the contrast between heritage and rebellion, where utilitarian materials meet theatrical styling. By reimagining classic symbols of American identity through a darker lens, the final image becomes a gothic interpretation of Americana, blending craftsmanship, nostalgia, and subculture.

This project explores my fascination with twins, symmetry, and cinematic visual language through the lens of historical garment reconstruction and digital patternmaking. Inspired by the unsettling precision and visual storytelling of Stanley Kubrick, the paired gauze blouses create a sense of mirrored identity and controlled uniformity.
Developed through CLO 3D patternmaking, the design is derived from the construction and patterning of historical asylum shirts, reimagined into a more practical and contemporary garment. The blouses feature functional buttons aligned down the back, open cap sleeves, and exaggerated elongated sleeves finished with decorative button detailing. The soft gauze fabric contrasts with the structured symmetry of the design, creating a balance between fragility and restraint.
By transforming a garment rooted in historical context into a wearable blouse, this project examines themes of repetition, identity, and the relationship between clothing and the body. The twin blouses become a study of duality, two separate garments existing as one visual narrative
